Last week, students in Mrs. Avery's classes were figuring out if double stuffed Oreos are really “double stuffed” by identifying dependent and independent variables.

What a great first two days of school! As we prepare for next week, don't forget that Wednesday, August 20th is MS Picture Day!

Familiar Face, New Place! We are happy to welcome the following staff members to the middle school: Carrie Jennings DeMange, Kate Edington, Doug Howard, Alex Oeder, Kerry Wilkinson, and Jeskee Zantene!

We cannot wait to see everyone TOMORROW for the first day of school. Students can enter the building at 7:25 a.m. (then report to breakfast or the gym until 7:35). The school day will begin at 7:40 a.m. with dismissal at 2:20 p.m.
BIG thanks to the MS Cheerleaders for helping students and families during Open House last night! We had almost 400 students pick up schedules, meet their teachers, and tour the building.

Three students from Clinton-Massie Middle School competed in the National STAR Event Competition at the 2025 FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL from July 5-9, 2025.
Emma Johnson competed in the Repurpose & Redesign STAR Event and achieved a remarkable gold medal where she placed in top 10 in recognition of her outstanding performance. Isaac Arnold competed in the Chapter Service Display STAR Event and achieved a remarkable gold medal in recognition of his outstanding performance. Declan McCormick competed in the Digital Stories for Change STAR Event and achieved a remarkable bronze medal where he placed in top 10 in recognition of his outstanding performance.
Congratulations to these students for their hard work and dedication!
