We also recognized nine new names on the Veterans Wall, including Corbin Ruth, Class of 2021, and Bryce Hensley, Class of 2022. We thank all veterans for their service to our country.

Please see the following message from Athletic Director, Brian Carey:
The district has made the decision to cancel all practices this evening. While the roads are now mostly clear, the temperature is continually dropping, giving the chance of freezing ice on the roads. We are going to err on the side of caution and cancel all activities this evening.
Please inform your athletes and parents of this change. All students should go home directly after school.

Good morning, Clinton-Massie Middle School. We have a couple items to share before the Smore comes out next week.
1) Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 20th from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. Please use this link to schedule a conference with your student’s teacher(s). The scheduler will close on Wednesday 11/19 at 2:30 p.m.

2) The CMLSD Veterans Day Program is next Tuesday, November 11th, beginning at 8 a.m. with breakfast in the High School Auditeria. The MS/HS Program will follow at 9 a.m. After the program finishes, we invite the Veterans to join in the elementary for the parade at 10:15 a.m. We hope to see you on campus for this event.
3) Tuesday, 11/11, the Wilmington Public Library-CM Branch is closed to the public due to Veterans Day. They will be open for CM Students during the school day (7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), but they will not be open after school. Please make arrangements if your student typically stays in the library after school as that is not an option next Tuesday.
